About us
We develop products for people with a genuine interest in food, and we strive to do so in a way that minimizes environmental impact.
The company was founded in 2013 by Dr. Odd Lindahl, a marine researcher focusing on regenerative food sources. He observed how large quantities of perfectly good mussels were discarded for aesthetic reasons, such as being the wrong size or having broken shells. His solution was a gentle process that converts the mussels into powder, preserving their marine proteins, Omega-3 fatty acids, and pure umami flavor—exactly the method we use today.
Our production is located in the small coastal community of Ellös on Orust. Here, we produce mussel powder and mussel salt, and it's also where we pack and ship your orders.
