Capture the flavours of autumn on a pizza. Perfect for a crayfish party or as a tasty snack with something nice to drink.
Ingredients, 1 pizza:
- Pizza base. Use a ready-made one or make your own dough.
- 0.75 dl crème fraîche
- 2 dl grated aged cheese
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 150 g chanterelles (or other mushrooms you like and can find)
Mussel & Dill Oil:
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp mussel powder
- 1/2 lemon, juice & zest
- 1 bunch of dill
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
- Fry the chanterelles in a dry pan over medium heat until all the water has evaporated. Add a knob of butter and fry the mushrooms until golden and crispy.
- Spread the crème fraîche over the pizza base.
- Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
- Thinly slice the red onion and garlic and spread them over the pizza.
- Distribute the fried chanterelles over the pizza.
- Bake in the oven for about 6-8 minutes until the pizza is golden and the cheese has melted.
- Meanwhile, mix the olive oil and mussel powder.
- Grate the lemon peel, squeeze the lemon, and mix into the oil with the finely chopped dill.
- Take the pizza out and drizzle the dill & mussel oil over it.
